Biography

Muhamed Marwan, also known as SLP, is a Danish-Palestinian rapper born in 1980. He relocated from Saudi Arabia to Denmark at age ten and grew up in Aarhus. Marwan started writing rap in 2000 and collaborated with the ensemble Pimp-A-Lot and the collective Full Impact Productions. He released his debut studio album, P.E.R.K.E.R., in 2007 through Tabu Records. This was followed by the album Mennesker in 2011, which reached number 40 on the Danish chart. In 2017, he released the single "Århus V Veteran" with L.O.C.. Marwan formed the group SortHandsk in 2019 with Michel Svane and Søren Bendz. The ensemble released its self-titled debut album in 2021. The group subsequently performed at festivals including Copenhell and SmukFest.
