Martin Stosch was born on 30 July 1990 in Landshut, Germany, and grew up in Postau with two sisters, completing his Abitur in 2010 before studying Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen at Hochschule Landshut. His breakthrough came in 2007 when he finished as runnerâup in the fourth season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar, where he performed covers such as "Tears in Heaven" and "Wake Me Up When September Ends", and subsequently appeared on the compilation Power of Love. In 2008 he released his debut studio album 7teen, which entered the German charts at number 82, and issued singles including "Zeit meines Lebens" and "Geh nicht einfach weg". The same year he collaborated with Lisa Bund on the duet "Have You Found?" and participated in the RecAllstars project, contributing the track "Christmastime" to the Merry Christmas! album. Stoschâs career continued with appearances on television programs such as Deine Chance! and Das perfekte PromiâDinner, and he later joined the ethnoâfunk band Tourists in a Daydream, releasing the single "Quero Dançar" in 2015. Throughout his career, Stosch maintained a presence in the German pop scene, with charting releases and collaborative projects that highlighted his versatility as a singer.
