Martin Halla, born Martin Halla on June 4, 1988, in Aurskog, Norway, is a singer. He rose to prominence after winning The Voice â Norges beste stemme in 2012. His breakthrough moment came during the inaugural series of the show, where he was mentored by Magne Furuholmen and advanced through various rounds with notable performances such as "Somewhere Only We Know" and "Keep on Walking." Following his victory on May 25, 2012, Halla released his debut single "Take It with Me," which peaked at number 3 on the VG-lista, the official Norwegian Singles Chart. His semi-final rendition of "Release Me" also reached number 7. In 2013, he released his debut album Winter Days, which reached number 5 on the Norwegian Albums Chart.
