Biography

Formed in 2007 under the aegis of Julien Pras, ex-member of Calc, Mars Red Sky aka MRS is a trio from Bordeaux who revive the psychedelic sounds of the sixties with fuzz guitar, bass and overheated drums. After touring France (opening for Sleepy Sun and Tweak Bird at the Bataclan in Paris, Belfort at the EurockÃ©ennes), Germany and the Netherlands, the trio recorded their first EP in March 2011, soberly entitled Mars Red Sky . Another followed in 2013 with Be My Guide, prelude to the album Stranded in Arcadia the following year. Its successor, entitled Apex III (Praise for the Burning Soul), comes in 2016.
