Mark Wynter, born Terence Sidney Lewis on 29 January 1943, in Woking, is a singer and actor known for his contributions to MOR and pop. He began his musical career in 1960 with singles such as "Kickin' Up The Leaves" and "Image of a Girl". In 1962, he achieved significant chart success with his cover of Jimmy Clanton's "Venus in Blue Jeans", which reached number four on the UK charts. He also had notable hits with "Go Away Little Girl" (UK number six) and "It's Almost Tomorrow" (UK number 12). Throughout the 1960s, he released several singles under the Decca and Pye labels, including "Dream Girl" and "Exclusively Yours". In 2002, his full discography for Pye was collected in the album Go Away Little Girl - The Pye Anthology. Additionally, he has been involved in various acting roles, including appearances in musicals such as Side By Side By Sondheim and Sweet Charity, and television work like presenting Once Upon a Time. He continued to tour and perform into the 2020s.
