Biography
Malachai, a UK alternative rock group from Bristol, England, was formed in 2006 by Gee Ealey on vocals and DJ Scott Hendy on music. Initially known as Malakai, they changed their name in 2010 due to a naming conflict. Their early breakthrough came with "Fading World", released on Invada Records in April 2007. The band's debut EP EP 1 (2007) followed on Island Records, featuring the lead track "The Battle", which received significant airplay as BBC Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe's Single of the Week. Malachai released their first album, Ugly Side of Love (2009), on Invada Records and later reissued it on Double Six/Domino. Their single "Snowflake" was featured in the soundtrack of FIFA 11.
