Biography

Originally from Georgia, where she was born in Hull on June 4, 1999, American country singer MacKenzie Carpenter studied at Nashville's Belmont University before launching her musical career. In 2022, she signed with the Valory Music label and recorded her first singles, which have already met with public interest on music platforms. She opens for Miranda Lambert, Megan Moroney and Parker McCollum, and in 2024 performs at CMA Fest and other country festivals, before her first performance at the Grand Ole Opry. In 2023, the Don't Mess with Exes and MacKenzie Carpenter EPs got her career off the ground, boosted by the singles "Huntin' Season", "Boots On" and "Dozen Red Flags", which preceded the release of the album Hey Country Queen (2025). This album includes the hit "I Wish You Would", ranked no. 60 on the Top Radio Country Songs chart.
