Biography

Lynam, an American hard rock band from Birmingham, Alabama, was formed in 2001 by Jacob Bunton after the breakup of his major-label band Mars Electric. The band released their first three albums: White Trash Superstar (2002), Bling! Bling! (2003), and Life in Reverse (2004) under EMG. Their breakthrough came with Slave to the Machine (2006) under DRT Records/Universal Records, which peaked at number 21 on Billboard's Top Independent Albums chart, while the album's first single "Tanis" topped both the active rock independent chart and the mainstream rock independent chart. This was followed by Tragic City Symphony (2008), featuring the song "Save My Soul", which peaked at number 5 on the active rock independent chart.
