Lucas Jerrod Hoge, born in Hubbell, Nebraska, is an American singer-songwriter and musician. At 17, he began playing guitar and later attended the University of NebraskaâLincoln. Lucas Jerrod Hoge's music career started with local bands Southern Cross and Xtreme Devotion. In 2002, he released his debut CD, In My Dreams, and his first television song, "If I Only Could" for Warner Brothers' show Smallville. His second album, Dirt, was released in 2006. Lucas Jerrod Hoge toured internationally, notably performing for American troops through the Armed Forces Entertainment Wrangler National Patriot Tour. In 2017, he released Dirty South, which debuted at number 12 on Billboard's Top Country Albums and reached number 5 the following week, becoming his first appearance on a Billboard chart. Lucas Jerrod Hoge is also known for hosting Hoge Wild on Sportsman Channel.
