Biography
A quintet from Leeds, Love Rarely was formed in 2023 around singer CJ (Courtney Jade Levitt) and guitarist/producer Lewis Taylor. Joined by Daniel Dewsnap (guitar), Daniel Gilson (bass) and Leo Godfrey (drums), the band forged a reputation on the local scene for their audacious blend of math-rock, post-hardcore and emo. The self-produced band recorded a few singles that led to the release of the Lonely People EP in March 2024, before signing with the Big Scary Monsters label for the following titles "Mould", "Disappear", "Will" and "Severed", whose releases staggered from September 2024 to March 2026. In April 2026, Love Rarely assembled their final twelve compositions for their debut album, Pain Travels.
