Biography
Los Wálters is a Puerto Rican indie pop band formed in 2011 by Luis López Varona and Ãngel Emanuel Figueroa. The duo began their musical journey while living in different cities, exchanging beats online before releasing their debut EP Los Wálters in June 2011. Their first full-length album, #ponteelcasco, followed in April 2013.
The band continued to release albums including Verano Panorámico (August 2014), Isla Disco (2016), featuring notable songs like "Claridad" and "Mayagüez", and Miss Universos (2021). They also contributed to the annual Banco Popular Christmas album with a cover of "Y Yo No Bailo" by Menudo. Los Wálters have performed at top venues and festivals across Mexico, Miami, New York, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic. Their notable singles include "Balada Lunar", "Calma", "LAVA", and "Dinamarca".
