Biography

Lori Meyers, a Spanish indie rock group from Loja, Granada, formed in 1998 by Antonio López (Noni), Alejandro Méndez, Julián Méndez, and Alfredo Núñez. Named after the song "Lori Meyers" by NOFX, they signed with Houston Party Records in early 2004. Their debut album, Viaje de Estudios, released in 2004, was well-received by indie media and earned them the Premio Ojo Crítico Música Moderna from RNE. In 2005, their second album, Hostal Pimodan, was released amid label disputes, leading to a switch to Universal Music. The band's third album, Cronolanea (2008), produced by Ken Coomer and Charlie Brocco, was named the best Spanish album of 2008 by Mondosonoro. In 2010, they released Cuando el Destino Nos Alcance, produced by Sebastian Krys in Los Angeles. Their sixth album, En La Espiral, was released in 2017 and produced by Ricky Falkner.
