Biography

León Benavente, a Spanish indie rock band formed in 2012, consists of Abraham Boba, Eduardo Baos, Luis Rodríguez, and César Verdú. Their debut album, León Benavente, was released in May 2013 under Marxophone, featuring the single "Ánimo, valiente" and followed by successful festival appearances including Sonorama and Arenal Sound. In December 2013, they released the EP Todos contra Todos. Their second album, titled 2, came out in April 2016. Notable collaborations include Enrique Bunbury on the single "Televisión." León Benavente continued to tour extensively, participating in festivals such as the Festival Interstellar de Sevilla and the Festival de Sonidos Líquidos in Lanzarote. Their subsequent releases included En la Selva (2017), Vamos a volvernos locos (2019). The band received the Premios El Ojo Crítico - Música Moderna in 2014.
