Loco Escrito's career is made up of a number of special features that make him one of a kind. Born in Medellin, Colombia, on January 27, 1990, Nicolas Herzig (real name) moved to the Zurich area at the age of 6. Enthralled by hip-hop culture, he formed Los Diablos Del Cielo at the age of 14, a rap group that split up a few years later following the death of one of its members. The Latin influence perceptible in this first attempt was to take on greater importance in the solo impetus he was to give to his career. He chose to rename himself Loco Escrito, gradually transforming himself into a reggaeton and Latin pop singer. It was a career choice that paid off, as this exotic offering for Swiss audiences also opened the door to international success. His hits include "Adios", a chart-topper in Portugal and Latin America, and "Sin Tin", which has been viewed no less than three million times on his video channel. In 2020, the singer entered the Swiss charts for the first time with "Soledad ", a languorous track with a reggaeton rhythm that reached no. 53. This was followed in 2020 by his biggest hit, "Punto", which reached number two, while "Estoy bien", from the album of the same name, peaked at number 93 and "Maria" at number 35. Now firmly established on the Swiss music scene, Loco Escrito scored a string of hits the same year with "Ãname" (No. 26), "Mamá" (No. 36) and "Triste " (No. 18), followed by "Mamacita" in 2021 (No. 48). In 2024, "Atrevida", "Descontrol", "Bailar bachata " and "Miedo " usher in a new phase of releases, culminating in the album 9013, featuring collaborations with EAZ and Stress.
