J Ãlvarez, born Javid David Ãlvarez Fernández on December 13, 1983, in RÃo Piedras, Puerto Rico, is a prominent figure in the reggaeton and Latin urban music scenes. He began his musical journey in 2009 with the mixtape El Dueño del Sistema, featuring collaborations with artists like De La Ghetto and Jowell & Randy.
