Leaving Laurel is an electronic music project initially created in 2019 by American artist Pierce Fulton and Canadian producer Gordon Huntley, already known as a member of the duo Botnek. Signed to the Anjunadeep label, the duo released the EPs Through and Through and A Secret Place in 2020 and produced the album Leaving Laurel, released in August 2021, after Pierce Fulton passed away on April 29 of the same year. Gordon Huntley decided to keep the band's name and continue Leaving Laurel on his own, in memory of his partner. After Daniel Avery's remix of "Winter in the Woods", he released the Fireflies EP (For as Far as We Could See) in February 2023, followed by the ambient album When the Quiet Comes in May. In 2024, Leaving Laurel collaborates with Yehno on the Disarm EP, before several singles lead to the album Our Lives Entwined, released in January 2026 and charting at No. 40 in the UK download charts.
