Biography
Real name Cassian Stewart Kasimba, Cassian is an Australian DJ and producer born in Sydney on August 23, 1988. Based in Los Angeles, he has been making his mark on the house music scene since the late 2000s with singles released on various labels, including Afterlife Records, Rose Avenue Records and Odd One Out Records. Cassian has collaborated with Rüfüs Du Sol, Hayden James, Yotto, Icehouse and Belladonna, among others, and several of his tracks have been remixed by fellow artists. His discography includes the EPs Friday Night (2009), I Like What You're Doing (2011), 8 Voices (2013), Takeover (2015) and Reactivate (2022). In 2020 her debut album, Laps, was released, featuring contributions from Gabrielle Current, Thandi Phoneix, Tora and Zolly. After the release of the singles "Dun Dun" (2024) and "SOS " (2025), the track "Love Parade " reached number 87 in the UK download chart.
