Laurent Daniels, born Peter Holzamer on March 31, 1963, in Mainz, Germany, is a singer and actor. In 1997, he began his music career with the release of "Do You See The Light" as part of the Gute Zeiten – Schlechte Zeiten soundtrack. This was followed by several singles including "Oops Here We Go!", "Christmas Time", and "Closer". His debut album, All Said And Done, was released in 1999. In addition to his solo work, Daniels collaborated with other artists on tracks such as "Our Time Has Come" with Lisa Riecken and "No Limitation To Love" for the compilation Pride 2001. He also contributed to charity singles like "Together", recorded by Artists Together For Kosovo. Throughout his career, Daniels balanced his music endeavors with a successful acting career, notably appearing in popular German television shows such as Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten and Schmetterlinge im Bauch. Daniels' acting roles include portraying the character of Philip Krüger in Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten from 1997 to 2000. He also appeared in the spin-off series Großstadtträume. In addition to his television work, Daniels has been involved in various film projects, including Plan B: Scheiss auf Plan A, which was released in German cinemas on June 8, 2017. His acting career includes a guest role in the soap opera Unter uns in 2021.
