Laura Sullivan is an American composer and pianist born in Northern California. Sullivan achieved professional recognition for a musical career characterized by new-age music and serving as the co-owner of Sentient Spirit Records. She achieved professional recognition for a career that began after she started piano lessons at age 4 and later received a bachelorâs degree in piano performance. Her recording career began with the debut studio recording Piano Solos (2003). Sullivan achieved professional recognition for the studio recording Love's River (2013), which received the Grammy Award for Best New Age Album at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards in 2014. Her discography included the studio recording Trails of North America (2003) and the studio recording Mystical America (2004). Sullivan achieved professional recognition for composing the soundtrack for the movie Valentines Day Special and music featured in the documentaries Walk into the Wild: Spirit of Itasca and The Greatest Silent Sport. Her recording career included the studio recording Pieces of Forever (2021), which received a nomination for a Grammy Award for Best New Age Album.
