Lágbájá is a Nigerian afrobeat musician and percussionist born in Nigeria in 1960. Bisade Ologunde achieved recognition for the use of a signature mask to symbolize the âcommon manâ in accordance with Yoruba carnival tradition. Their stage name is a Yoruba term for âJane Doeâ or âJohn Doeâ. Ologunde established a musical ensemble in 1991 and released the debut album Ikira (1993). Their recordings include the album We Before Me (2000), which addressed social and political themes. Their discography includes the albums ME (2000), Africano... the Mother of Groove (2005), and 200 Million Mumu (The Bitter Truth) (2012).
