Biography

KT Sullivan, born Kathleen Sullivan in Coalgate, Oklahoma, is an American cabaret performer. She began her musical journey as part of the Sullivan Family Gospel Singers and later studied opera in Italy and California. Sullivan released her debut album Crazy World in 1993, followed by Sing My Heart: The Songs of Harold Arlen in 1995. She has performed at notable venues such as the Laurie Beechman Theater, the Oak Room at the Algonquin Hotel in New York City, The Pheasantry and The Crazy Coqs at the Brasserie Zedel in London. Sullivan also appeared on Broadway in productions such as The Threepenny Opera (1989) and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1995). In 2012, she was named artistic director of the Mabel Mercer Foundation.
