Krystal Marie Peterson, born on November 7, 1981, is an American singer-songwriter and pianist. Her career began with the release of her debut single "My Religion" in 2000. In 2001, she released her first album Me & My Piano, which featured the hit single "Supergirl!". This track was prominently included on Disney's The Princess Diaries soundtrack along with "Love is a Beautiful Thing", which also appeared on the Legally Blonde soundtrack. Peterson also notably opened for the Backstreet Boys. In 2013, under the name Krystal Peterson & The Queen City Band, she released an EP titled Spell.
