Korede Bello, born on February 29, 1996, in Lagos State, Nigeria, is a singer and songwriter known for his contributions to contemporary R&B and soul music. He began performing at the age of seven under the stage name African Prince and released his first single "Forever" while still in secondary school. In 2014, Bello signed with Mavin Records, where he gained prominence with hits like "Godwin", which became a national anthem and topped many Nigerian charts. His debut album Belloved was released in 2017. Notable singles include "Do Like That" (2016), which achieved gold certification in Canada and the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in 2021, and "Bella" (2022). Bello left Mavin Records in 2021 and has since released music under Caspertainment Agency. He is also known for his humanitarian work, including mental health advocacy and serving as the Youth Ambassador for the Nigerian Police Force.
