Biography

Klutæ is the industrial music project of Danish musician Claus Larsen, who is also known for his main act Leæther Strip. Originally launched in 1991 under the name Klute, the project produced the EP Explicit and the album Excluded (1993), before pausing with Excel in 1996. Larsen revived the project in 2006 as Klutæ to avoid confusion with another artist, releasing the EP Sinner and the album Hit’n’Run on Alfa Matrix, showcasing a louder, more playful electro‑industrial style. Subsequent releases include Electro Punks Unite (2011), EXEcution (2012), Black Piranha (2017), and Queer For Satan (2020), featuring a blend of electro‑industrial textures and sampled guitars that highlight Larsen’s evolving musical vision.
