Kimberly Caldwell, born on February 25, 1982, is an American television hostess and singer. She began her public singing career at age five in beauty pageants and was a five-time junior vocalist winner on Star Search. In 2003, Caldwell gained national attention as a finalist on the second season of American Idol. Following her stint on American Idol, she released two singles, "Fear of Flying" and "Gave Yourself Away", in 2008. Her album, Without Regret, was finally released in 2011, after several delays. The album included the single "Desperate Girls & Stupid Boys". Caldwell also co-wrote the song "Taking Back My Life" with Brett Epstein. She has hosted various television shows and has been involved in projects supporting the LGBT community.
