A singer, instrumentalist, and producer with a catchy birthname destined for stardom, Forrest Frank (born 8 April 1995 in Fulshear, Texas) rose to fame as part of the genre-surfing band Surfaces. After debuting with an album called Surf in 2017, the group went on to log several more LPs, including Pacifo in 2021. In 2022, he broke off from the group to go it alone as a singer-songwriter, releasing "Slow Down" that year before venturing into contemporary Christian music with his first Christian single, "No Longer Bound." In May 2023, he released his debut solo album Nostalgia Pack with several other full-lengths following in its wake. 2024 saw the release of the album Child of God, following by the sequel Child of God II in 2025, featuring Thomas Rhett, Limoblaze and Nathan Davis Jr. Later in 2025, Forrest Frank expanded the project with Child of God II (Back to Back), adding songs such as âThe Rockâ with Crowder, âLemonadeâ with The Figs, âGodâs Got My Back,â âSelahâ and âMisunderstoodâ with Cory Asbury. The year also brought major industry recognition: he won Artist of the Year at the GMA Dove Awards, while Child of God was named Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year and âYour Wayâs Betterâ won Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year. He also earned two 2026 Grammy nominations, for Child of God II and âYour Wayâs Better.â In late 2025, Forrest Frank teamed with JVKE on the Christmas album this is what christmas feels like. In 2026, he launched The Jesus Generation Tour with Tori Kelly, Cory Asbury and The Figs, and released JESUS IS ALIVE (VOL. 1), whose title track became his second number 1 on Billboardâs Hot Christian Songs chart.
