Connor Price launched his entertainment career at six years old, starring in a long line of films and television shows as a child actor before transitioning toward a music career during the late 2010s. A native Canadian, he was born in Toronto, Ontario, on November 11, 1994. His first role was Sins of the Father, a made-for-TV movie that made its broadcast premiere in January 2002. Three years later, he appeared alongside Russell Crowe in the Oscar-nominated Cinderella Man, then starred in TV series like Being Human and X Company during the 2010s. In 2017, he made his musical debut with "'S' [Part 1]," a song that introduced his unique flow as a rapper. A half-dozen singles followed in 2018, including "Starter Pistol," "Rare Candy," "Outside," and "Didn't Ask." Several of those songs also appeared on his debut EP, 4 of Clubs, which was released the same year. Although Price appeared in the Canadian film Hammer in 2019, he began prioritizing his burgeoning music career over his work as an actor. "Violet," his first gold-certified single in Canada, appeared on the Top 100 Deezer chart in multiple countries throughout 2022, even reaching the Top 10 in Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Malaysia. One year later, he reached number 3 on China's Top 200 Shazam chart with "Straight A's" and released two records: the Till Next Time EP and the full-length album Spin the Globe. "Trendsetter," a song featuring Haviah Mighty, became a hit in both Canada and South Korea the following year.
