Kettama, the moniker of Irish DJ and producer Evan Campbell (born 30 May 1997), left his hometown of Galway for the bright lights of London's club scene after his career started to take off. Specialising in the type of heavy-hitting dance music primed for the floor, he cut his teeth on SoundCloud before bursting onto the scene in the mid-2010s, first gaining attention in 2018 for the loop-rich house slammer "B o D Y," featured on his debut EP Bucklyn Bridge. He quickly rose through the ranks of the international club set, stacking up singles and EPs such as 2021's G-Town 001, released on his own G-Town Records, 2019's Eastside Avenue EP, and forging collaborations with stellar artists such as Lone (2020's "Lone X KETTAMA") and Prospa (2022's "Close Your Eyes"). He has since released numerous EPs, including Steel City Dance Discs Volume 26 (2021) and Fallen Angel (2023). In 2024, he bagged his first homegrown chart hit with "Pretty Green Eyes (Sunset Ibiza Mix)," which went to number 76 on Ireland's Top 100 Singles IRMA chart. In 2025, he continued his rise in the Irish charts with "Yosemite", which reached number 30 on the Official Irish Singles Chart, "Itâs Get Better (Forever Mix)" (number 3 on the Irish Homegrown Singles Chart), "Gotta Have It" (number 18), "Sort It Out" (number 7), and "Man with a Second Face" (number 4). Released in October 2025, his second album Archangel (which peaked at number 6 on the Irish charts) brought together his recent hits, along with "Fade Away (Itâs a Feeling)" and "I Believe", which reached number 11 and number 17 on the Irish Homegrown Chart respectively.
