Biography
Kayra, born Onur Ä°nal on August 9, 1985, in Karabük, Turkey, is a Turkish rapper, lyricist, and English teacher known for his storytelling style and introspective lyrics. He began his career with the underground hip-hop group Gına before forming the influential duo Farazi V Kayra with producer Burak Demir in 2007. Their critically acclaimed album Hayalet IslıÄı (2013) established Kayra as one of Turkey's leading hip-hop artists. He later co-founded the rap collective 90BPM with artists like Da Poet, Farazi, Savai, and Sorgu. Other notable releases include Meçhul Bir YalnızlıÄa Dair (2022), Ãmrümün Son Güzel Günleri (2023), and the collaborative album NORMAL (2024). His music often explores everyday life, politics, football, and Turkish culture through vivid narratives, earning him recognition as one of Turkey's foremost storytelling rappers.
