Biography

Born Kathleen Sergerie on April 24, 1966 in Cap-Chat (Canada), Kathleen is a pop singer from Quebec. She was discovered by the L'Empire des futures stars competition in 1989. Her eponymous debut album, released in 1991, earned her the title of Discovery of the Year at the ADISQ gala the following year, as well as a gold disc for sales of over 50,000 copies. His second album, Ça Va Bien! placed several songs on the Quebec charts, including the title track, which became a Quebec karaoke classic. The album also went gold in 1994. That same year, Kathleen opened for Céline Dion on The Colour of my Love Tour at the Montreal Forum. In 1996, she released the album Cette Fille-Là , including the hit " Je suis à moi " and a cover of a Boule Noire song from 1976, " Aimes-tu la vie? A year later, she dubs the four songs of the main character Belle in the Disney film La Belle Et la Bête : un Noël Enchanté . In 1998, Kathleen decided to put her musical career on hold. In 2004, she joined the Ville Émard Blues Band Nouvelle Génération with her partner, playing a few shows with the band. In May 2021, she released the single " Toi maman ".
