Biography

Julie Reeves, born June 18, 1974, in Ashland, Kentucky, is an American country music recording artist and radio personality. She moved to Nashville in 1994 and began her career providing vocals for studio sessions and demo recordings before signing with Capitol Records in 1997. Her debut album, It's About Time, was released in 1999 through Virgin Records Nashville, featuring three hit singles that charted on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, including two Top 40 hits. Reeves collaborated on "Shoulda Shut Up", a song featuring Bill Engvall’s spoken-word comedy and a sung chorus. After taking a break from music to raise her daughter, Caitlyn Rose, she returned to radio hosting in April 2013 with the Julie Reeves Live morning show on 93.7 The Dawg. She has been the midday announcer for Big Buck Country, a classic country station in the Huntington market.
