Biography
Juan Bau is a Spanish light music singer born on December 24, 1948, in Aldaya. He performed in the amateur groups Los Pikens and Modificación before debuting professionally in (1972). He recorded his first single in (1972) featuring the songs âPequeñas cosasâ and âDentro de mi almaâ. He followed this in (1973) with the single âTú no comprendesâ and achieved a major hit with âLa estrella de Davidâ (1973). Bau received his first gold record for the studio album Penas (1974). His other singles include âMi corazónâ (1974), âDama del amanecerâ (1975), and âDevuélveme el amorâ (1978). In the 1980s, his songs included âUn paso másâ and âHoy me llamaráâ. Albums include Corazonada (1988), Alma romántica (1996), and Nuestras canciones (1999). He returned to recording with Volverte a ver (2003) and the compilation 30 años de éxitos (2004). His work is featured in compilations such as Super éxitos de Juan Bau (2009).
