Biography

Jordy Claude Daniel Lemoine is the son of Claude Lemoine, producer of Les Rockets (a French rock band from the 1970s) and a Radio Manche presenter. Born on January 14, 1988 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye (Yvelines), he became a child star in September 1992 with the stunning success of "Dur dur d'être bébé! His parents sampled the four-year-old's voice to a dance beat, and the single spent fifteen weeks at the top of the Top 50, selling over six million copies. Building on this international success, which reached as far as the United States, Jordy went on to place "Alison" and "Les Boules " in the charts in 1993. The rest of the adventure was less glorious, with Jordy seeing his royalties mismanaged by his parents and partly misappropriated by his label. In 2006, Jordy made a brief comeback as an adult with "Je t'apprendrai" and the autobiography Je Ne Suis Plus un Bébé. Two years later, he released the album Vingt'Age under the name Jordy and the Dixies. Jordy received compensation from Sony BMG in 2009, and began studying sound engineering that same year.
