US singer-songwriter, David Kushner (born in Chicago on 6 September 2000) achieved viral fame with his guitar ballad "Miserable Man," which initially found popularity on TikTok before being released as a single in January 2022. The track, which was produced by Atlanta-based singer-songwriter Abe Parker, became a Top 40 hit in several countries around the world, reaching Number 11 in Norway, Number 39 in the UK, Number 31 in New Zealand, and Number 19 in Ireland. He released a follow-up single in March 2022, "Mr. Forgettable," which culminated in his debut EP, Footprints I Found, later that year. A flurry of singles came next, including 2023's stripped-back "Dead Man" and 2024's "Skin and Bones." His debut full-length The Dichotomy, a double album comprising 17 tracks, arrived in 2024 and included the gothic pop hit "Daylight," which went viral on TikTok in 2023.
