Joe McKee, born on December 3, 1984, in London, is an Australian singer. He moved to the Darling Ranges of Western Australia with his family at age five. In 2003, Joe McKee became a founding member of Snowman, contributing to their albums Snowman (2006), The Horse, The Rat and The Swan (2008) and Absence (2011). After the band dissolved, he began composing under his own name for film, TV, and solo projects. His debut album, Burning Boy, was released through Dot Dash Recordings in Australia in 2012 and through Big Ship in the UK and Europe in 2013. McKee also contributed sound art installations to various group exhibitions including the L.A.-based MAMA gallery inaugural exhibition. In 2018, he released his second solo album An Australian Alien under Babyrace Records.
