Biography
Theo Bleak is the pseudonym of Katie Lynch, a Scottish singer, guitarist and songwriter from Dundee. A performer with a gentle, melancholy voice, she accompanies herself on indie rock and shoegaze-influenced dream pop, collaborating on sound design with Mark Johnston. The debut EP Fragments (2022) was followed by For Seasons (2022), Pain (2023), Iliad (2023) and Bad Luck Is Two Yellow Flowers (2025), which reached No. 12 in the Scottish album charts. A few months later, her debut album Bargaining is released, with the title track "Megan in New York".
