Biography

Jim Bianco is an American singer-songwriter who transitioned from local bass playing to becoming a cornerstone of the Los Angeles Hotel Café scene. After moving to California in 2000, he gained recognition by opening for Gary Jules, which led to his participation in the Hotel Café Tour starting in 2005. His recording career began with the 2002 EP Well, followed by his debut studio album Handsome (2004). The 2008 release Sing, featuring the title track "Sing," primarily composed on the Hotel Café's backroom piano, further enhanced his acclaim. His discography also includes Loudmouth (2011) and the fan-funded Cookie Cutter (2013). Known for his theatrical performance style and versatile instrumentation, Bianco maintained a consistent presence in the independent music circuit through international touring and cinematic songwriting.
