Jessica Lauren is a critically-acclaimed London, England-based jazz and soul keyboardist. Alongside her own recordings, she has collaborated with other artists such as Jean Carne, Tom Browne, Dexter Wansel and James Mason, Japan's United Future Organization, and UK soul diva Juliet Roberts. Lauren first came to prominence when she signed to Soul Jazz Records and released the singles âSerengetiâ and âManos Arribaâ in 1993. Her debut album, Siren Song, was issued in 1994. She became a popular session musician and composer, finally releasing her second album, Film, in 2000. The album introduced a new âjazztronicâ direction for her, and was a sign that she was unafraid to explore different musical avenues. She formed her own quartet with bassist Andrew Kremer, and percussionists David âBoogieâ Gallagher and Paul Gunter. They released the acoustic-based album Jessica Lauren Four in 2012. Moving forward on her own again, she released the critically-praised album AlmerÃa in 2018.
