Jendrik Sigwart, known mononymously as Jendrik, was born on August 27, 1994, in Hamburg-Volksdorf, Germany. He is a singer and musical performer who began his career by learning piano and violin as a teenager and studying musicals at the Institute for Music at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences. While still a student, Sigwart appeared in various musicals, including German productions of My Fair Lady, Hairspray, and Peter Pan. In 2016, he released his first single "Dibdibidi". On February 6, 2021, Jendrik was selected internally to represent Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam with his self-penned entry "I Don't Feel Hate". The song was produced by Christoph Oswald and released on February 25, 2021. At Eurovision, Sigwart performed 15th in the running order, ultimately finishing 25th in the final, receiving three jury points and zero televote points.
