Biography

Jamey Jasta successfully navigated metalcore and the formation of Hatebreed in 1994 in Wallingford (Connecticut). The singer branched out into hardcore in 1996, forming the side project Icepick. In 2005, he became one half of the Kingdom of Sorrow duo with Kirk Windstein of Crowbar. Kingdom of Sorrow then evolved into a full-fledged band. His latest project is the band Jasta with Charlie Bellmore (guitar, bass) and Nick Bellmore (drums), who are already part of the latest Kingdom of Sorrow line-up. The album Jasta was released in July 2011.
