Jan Wayne, born Jan Christiansen on January 11, 1974, in Husum, Germany, is a DJ and music producer known for his work in electronic music, Eurodance, and trance. His career began to take off with the release of his debut album Back Again! in September 2002, which included notable singles like "Total Eclipse of the Heart", a cover of Bonnie Tyler's hit that gained significant traction. Wayne achieved further success with his remixes of well-known songs, including "Because the Night" by Patti Smith and Bruce Springsteen, which reached number 4 on the German charts in 2002 and held a position in the top ten for seven weeks. In 2003, Jan Wayne released Gonna Move Ya! featuring the singles "Love Is a Soldier" and "1, 2, 3 (Keep the Spirit Alive)". His subsequent releases featured collaborations with artists like Scarlet and Fab, resulting in notable tracks such as "I Touch Myself", "Time Stood Still", and "Run to You". Wayne's work has been recognized internationally, with chart placements in Germany, Austria, and the United Kingdom.
