Biography
Chyp-Notic was founded in Cologne in 1988. The German Eurodance group consists of Vlad Mint, Jan Erik and Walter Bee. The band initially started out under the name Toys. Two years later they changed their name to Chyp-Notic. The group works in the Eurodance and pop environment. Their best-known title is Nothing Compares or "Nothing Compares 2U (The Ultimate Dance Version)". The single reached number 16 in Germany in 1990. The debut album Nothing Compares was released in 1990, followed two years later by I Can't Get Enough. The single "I Can't Get Enough" comes from this album and reaches number 14 in Germany. Other titles released include "Still in Love with You", "I Do It All for You, Baby" and "When I Dream". In 1993, Chyp-Notic received the RSH Gold Award in the German Produced Group category. The group disbanded in 1994. After the split, a few more compilations followed, such as the Greatest Hits collection in 2008. This was followed in 2015 by 25 - The New Best of Album: Remixed and Remastered.
