Nicole Safft, known professionally as Rollergirl, was born on November 19, 1975, in Lünen, Germany. She is a singer specializing in electronic and trance music. Safft's early background included involvement in a roller-skating club during her childhood. Her breakthrough moment came when she was discovered by German music producer Alex Christensen on Mallorca, leading to her first recordings. Rollergirl released her debut single "E-Cyas Are U Real?" in 1999, followed by the cover of Madonna's "Dear Jessie" which gained significant traction, particularly in the United Kingdom. The success of this song was marked by two versions of the music video: one featuring Julie Pecquet and another with Safft herself under the pseudonym Nicci Juice. Subsequent releases included covers such as "Luv U More" by Sunscreem and "Eternal Flame" by the Bangles. Her debut album, Now Iâm Singinâ⦠And The Party Keeps On Rollinâ, was released in 2000. Notable singles from her discography include "You Make Me Feel Like Dancing", which was released only in Denmark, and "Superstar", a disco hit that was included on the revised version of her album.
