Biography

Jamie Duffy, born in 2001 in the village of Glaslough, County Monaghan, Ireland, is a pianist blending neoclassical, traditional, and popular elements. Coming from a musical family, Jamie Duffy released his debut single "Solas" in February 2022, which topped classical charts across several countries. After graduating from Queen's University Belfast in 2023, he signed with Irish indie label Rubyworks. Jamie Duffy supported Andrea Bocelli at BST Hyde Park in July 2024 and embarked on his debut tour, which extended into 2025. In March 2025, he sold out the National Concert Hall in Dublin on St Patrick's Day. He has collaborated with artists such as Kingfishr, The Coronas, Peter Sandberg and released a new version of "Solas" with American singer Sarah Cothran. Following several singles, including "Into the West" (2023) and "Torus" (2024), Duffy released EPs On a Wing (2024), Late Night Sessions (2024), and For the Moon (March 2025). His self-titled debut album Jamie Duffy, released in October 2025, featured singles "Rising" and "Against the Atlantic". The former peaked at number 18 on Irish Homegrown Singles chart, while the album reached number 7 on Irish Albums chart and number 1 on Irish Independent Albums chart.
