Biography
Jacob Anderskov, born in 1975, is a Danish jazz pianist. He studied at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen and pursued music studies at the University of Copenhagen and in New York from 2002 onwards. In the 2000s, Anderskov began working extensively within the Danish and international jazz scenes, collaborating with notable artists such as Lotte Anker, Jesper Løvdal, Stefan Pasborg, and Kresten Osgood. His album Panta Rhei was released in 2007. Throughout his career, Anderskov was involved in numerous projects, including Anderskov Accident and Agnostic Revelations. He also collaborated with artists like Liudas Mockūnas, Benjamin Koppel, Marc Berstein, and others under various bands such as the Jacob Anderskov Trio. In 2013, he received the Danish Music Award for Danish Jazz Composer of the Year.
