Isabelle Christine Inès Léonore Girard, known professionally as Isabelle de Funès, was born on July 27, 1944, in Paris, France. She began her career as a model for Vogue before transitioning into music and acting. Her musical debut came with the release La journée d'Isabelle in 1968. De Funès collaborated with notable French songwriters Véronique Sanson and Michel Berger, recording songs such as "Mon roi" (1968) and "Odeur de neige" (1969).
