Born as an initiative to fight domestic abuse during the COVID-19 pandemic, Irish Women In Harmony is a charity project organized by Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Ruth Anne that gathered some of Irelandâs finest female artists for a good cause. Composed of Ailbhe Reddy, Aimée, Ãine Cahill, Allie Sherlock, Caroline Corr, Elaine Mai, Emma Langford, Erica Cody, Eve Belle, Faye OâRourke, Fia Moom, Imelda May, Laoise, Lilla Vargen, Lisa Hannigan, Loah, Lyra, Melina Malone, Moya Brennan, Niamh Farrell, Orla Gartland, Pillow Queens, Roe, RóisÃn O, Ruthanne, Saint Sister, Sibéal, Soulé, Stephanie Rainey, Tolu Makay, Una Healy, and Wyvern Lingo, the group recorded a cover of The Cranberriesâ âDreamsâ to raise funds for SAFE Ireland, a charity that supports domestic abuse victims and survivors. The single, which was also a homage to the late Dolores OâRiordan, accumulated over two hundred million plays and climbed up to Number 6 on the Irish Charts upon its initial release.
