Biography
Hurry is an American indie rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, formed in 2012. The group began as a solo project by Matthew William Scottoline, who released his home recordings on Bandcamp under the name "Hurry." After recruiting other musicians, including Robert DeCarolis and Joseph DeCarolis, Hurry signed with Hot Green Records and released their first album Everything/Nothing in 2014. The band's second record Guided Meditation was announced in March 2016 and released on April 29, 2016 under Lame-O Records. Their third album Every Little Thought came out on February 23, 2018. Hurry's fourth album Fake Ideas was released in June 2021, marking the first release as a quartet with the addition of guitarist Justin Fox. The band's fifth album Don't Look Back was released on August 11, 2023 release.
