Biography

Humbe, born Humberto Rodríguez Terrazas on November 11, 2000, in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist blending Latin pop and R&B influences. His musical journey began at the age of nine, crafting songs and learning instruments at his grandmother's home in Chihuahua. In 2017, he debuted with Sonámbulo, his first album, featuring tracks like “Te quiero aquí ya” and “Toma mi mano.” In 2020, Humbe released the EP Soy Humbe, followed by his critically acclaimed album Entropía in 2021, which included hits like “El Poeta” and “Te Conocí en Japón,” earning him the MTV MIAW award for Best New Artist and a Latin Grammy nomination. Later that year, he unveiled Aurora, a deeply personal project created alongside his brother Emiliano Rodríguez. His 2023 album Esencia explored themes of identity and transformation, with standout tracks like “Sanvalentín:(.” In 2024, Humbe surprised fans with Armagedón, an introspective album featuring songs like “Astros,” “Novatos,” and “Tinto de verano.” That year, his 2023 non-album single "Fantasmas" reached number 15 on the Billboard Latin Digital Songs chart.
