Alex Luna, born Alejandro Luna Casas in Cancún, Mexico in 2001, is a Mexican singer, songwriter, and producer. He began playing guitar at eight, started producing songs for friends as a teenager, and launched his artist career around 2020. After early releases such as âBáilame,â Alex Luna broke through in 2021 with âTe Marqué Pedo,â a collaboration with DAAZ that reached Billboardâs Viral 50 Global chart and led to a 2022 remix with Christian Nodal. His rise brought him to BorderKid Records, the label founded by songwriter and producer Ãdgar Barrera. In 2022, Alex Luna continued working with DAAZ on âMe Gustas un Chingo,â then released his first EP, Introspección, in 2023, featuring âVale Madres,â âMe Quieres Cuando No Estás Bien,â âEstá Cabrón,â âCuidar De Ti,â âQué Hago Mal,â and âTus Fotos.â The same year, he teamed with Ramón Vega and Tony Mils on âVERANO.â In 2024, Alex Luna followed with solo singles including âQuisiera,â âApapáchame Lento,â âSan Mike,â and âFlores Amarillas.â His debut album, FUTURALGIA, arrived in 2025 and was later extended through the short film FUTURALGIA and the live-style EP FUTURALGIA (YACHT SESSION). Also in 2025, he was nominated for Best New Artist at the Latin Grammy Awards. In 2026, he returned with âUNANAEâ and âTe Marqué Pedo con Sabino,â a new version of his best-known song with Sabino and DAAZ.
